(Oral) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. is for issuance of a direction to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and not to harass them at the instance of respondent Nos.4 and 5.
The petitioners have got married against the wishes of their parents. They are stated to be major. In support of her proof of age petitioner No.1 has placed on record photocopy of her Aadhar Card(Annexure P-1) wherein her date of birth is mentioned as 09.12.1991 and petitioner No.2 has also placed on record photocopy of his Birth Certificate (Annexure P-2) depicting his date of birth as 20.10.1991. Petitioner No.1 has moved a representation before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Karnal, District Haryana(Annexure P4) for protection of her life and liberty and that of her husband i.e. petitioner No.2.
