Harjit Singh v. State Of Punjab
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH CRM-M-42588 of 2018 Date of Decision: 11.02.2019 Harjit Singh
...Petitioner
Versus
State of Punjab and others ....Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAMENDRA JAIN Present:- None for the petitioner.
Mr. Harpreet Multani, AAG, Punjab.
RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) On previous two dates also, petitioner had gone unrepresented. Even today none has appeared on his behalf. Therefore, it can safely be inferred that petitioner or his counsel is no more interested in pursuing this petition.
More so, learned State counsel contends that on the basis of suspicion, Lakhwinder Singh was joined in investigation and interrogated, but he was not found involved in the commission of crime. Various other persons have also been interrogated, but as on date, no clue could be found of the person, who committed the impugned crime. In view of above, instant petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous and for want of prosecution as well. (RAMENDRA JAIN) February 11, 2019 JUDGE R.S.
