(ORAL) The appellant-wife has come up in this appeal against the judgment and decree dated 01.04.2019, passed by the learned District Judge, Family Court, Barnala, whereby the petition filed by respondenthusband under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, for dissolution of marriage by way of decree of divorce was allowed. Learned counsel for the respondent-husband has placed on record a copy of compromise dated 12.08.2021, effected between the parties before the Panchayat. As per the said compromise, respondent has to pay Rs.17,00,000/- in total towards permanent alimony i.e. Rs.3,00,000/- to the appellant-wife and Rs.14,00,000/- to the minor child. He has also placed on record a copy of cheque dated 28.03.2022 RISHU KATARIA 2022.07.11 10:25 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
FAO-3139-2019 (O&M) -2amounting to Rs.14,00,000/- in favour of minor son along with statement of accounts showing Rs.14,00,000/- have also been withdrawn and copy of order dated 06.09.2021 passed by the Family Court, Banala, that Rs.3,00,000/- has been deposited in the bank account of appellantManpreet Kaur. All the aforesaid documents are taken on record as Annexure R-1.
Counsel for the appellant is not disputing the above facts. Keeping in view the aforesaid documents Annexure R-1, the instant appeal stands disposed of.
