M.M.S. BEDI, J (ORAL) Petitioner is alleged to have caught hold of Jagbir while his co-accused Kapil fired at Jagbir bullet hitting his foot. The petitioner has been in custody w.e.f. 21.7.2014. Co-accused of the petitioner Bachu Singh has been granted the concession of bail. In view of above, the petitioner on the principle of parity, can also be granted the same relief.

The petition is allowed. Petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate subject to the conditions that he will not commit the similar offence of which he is accused of during the pendency of the trial and will not browbeat or threaten the complainant or the prosecution witnesses.
