*** ANIL KSHETARPAL, J (Oral) Through this application, the petitioner (wife) prays for transfer the proceedings of HMA/325/2021 (Davinder Singh vs. Taranpreet Kaur) pending in the Court of Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Amritsar, to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Batala (Gurdaspur). The petitioner claims that the respondent is already defending the following cases at Family Court, Batala (Gurdaspur):-

1. Complaint under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.

2. Application under Section 125 Cr.P.C.

As per the office report, notice issued to the respondent has been received back served, however, he remains unrepresented. Keeping in view the uncontroverted facts, the petition is allowed. The proceedings of HMA/325/2021 (Davinder Singh vs. Taranpreet Kaur) pending in the Court of Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Amritsar, are ordered to be transferred to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Batala (Gurdaspur).
