R.P. Nagrath, J. (Oral) Learned State counsel has filed the reply/affidavit of Jaswinder Singh, PPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Crime), Ludhiana and the same is taken on record.
It is submitted that investigation has been transferred out of District Ludhiana to the State Crime Branch, Mohali. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that investigation was transferred to the Crime Branch in deference to the order dated 21.05.2014 (Annexure P-5) passed by this Court in CRM-M-17733 of 2014.
Petitioners' only grievance is that they have made representations (Annexures P-7 and P-8) expressing their grievance, but no action has been taken thereon. In view of the above, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to the Investigating Officer of the Crime Branch to look into the representations (Annexures P-7 and P-8) and take appropriate steps, if required, in accordance with law.
