The present petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been filed for quashing of FIR No.0316 dated 17.11.2020, registered under Sections 326 and 506 read with Section 34 of the IPC, at Police Station Salem Tabri, Police Commissionerate, District Ludhiana, and all other consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties.

Even on second call, none has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioners, as well as, respondent No.2. The same had been the situation even earlier. Therefore, it is obvious that the parties have not been able to arrive at a genuine compromise qua the offences involved in the present case. 3.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed.
