Through the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioner is seeking directions to Additional Sessions Judge, Jalandhar, to adjudicate application dated 18.04.2023 seeking release of the petitioner from State Protection Home, Jalandhar. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that petitioner is major still she has been confined in State Protection Home, Jalandhar. She has already made statements under Sections 161 and 164 Cr.P.C. She has been kept there without her consent. 3.

This Court is not oblivious of the fact that trial courts are over burdened, thus, it would not be just and fair to direct Additional Sessions Judge, Jalandhar, to decide application in a time bound manner, however, keeping in view the fact that it is a case of personal PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2023.05.05 14:23 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
