Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been preferred by the petitioner for seeking entrustment of investigation of case No. 32/2017 dated 30.5.2017, under Sections 8, 21, 23, 60 & 61 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (Annexure P1) to an independent agency such as Central Bureau of Investigation. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner has made a representation (Annexure P1) to respondent No.3-Inspector General of Police, Bathinda Zone, Bathinda but the same remained unattended till now.

Having considered the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioners and perusal of record, respondent No.3-Inspector General of Police, Bathinda Zone, Bathinda is directed to look into the representation (Annexure P1) and take required action, if any, as per law.
