Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.8 dated 23.01.2014 under Sections 457, 380, 411 and 34 IPC, registered at Police Station Raipur Rani, District Panchkula.
Notice of motion was issued and learned State counsel appeared and contested the petition.
I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned State counsel and have gone through the record. As per the facts of the case, the present petitioner was on regular bail but he absented during trial after 10.05.2016 on two consecutive dates.

CRM No.M-43559 of 2016 -2In compliance of the order dated 06.12.2016 passed by this Court, the petitioner appeared before the trial Court and he has been released on interim bail by learned JMIC, Panchkula, vide order dated 16.12.2016.
The trial of the case will take long time. No useful purpose will be served by sending the petitioner to custody till the disposal of the case. Therefore, finding merit in the present petition, the same is allowed. The order dated 06.12.2016 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute.
