*** Sudhir Mittal, J. (Oral) The distributorship agreement with respondent No.4 has been terminated on account of assault on an official of the petitioner. An FIR has also been got registered against him in which anticipatory bail has been declined by the Court of Sessions. Thus, respondent No.4 has absconded. Upon termination of the distributorship agreement, the petitioner is entitled to take custody of the stock lying with the erstwhile distributor but it is unable to do so as the premises has been locked and the former dealer has absconded. Thus, representation dated 11.5.2022 (Annexure P-5) has been submitted before respondents No.2 and 3 for providing police help but no action has been taken till date. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is an urgency in this matter as safety of the general public is involved. Notice of motion to respondents No. 1 to 3 only. Mr. Arun Kaundal, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and waives service.
