(ORAL) Through instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for quashing Criminal Complaint No.NACT/198/2016 dated 05.07.2016 titled as "M/s Kranti Farm v. Baljit Singh" under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and order dated 05.07.2016 passed by learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Phillaur, summoning the petitioner in the aforesaid complaint to face trial. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of conviction of the petitioner, instant petition has rendered infructuous. Therefore, the same may be disposed of as such.
