***** SANJEEV PRAKASH SHARMA , J (ORAL) This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing the FIR No.214 dated 04.05.2022 under Sections 363 and 366 IPC, registered at Police Station Industrial Sector-29, District Panipat. In this petition, the petitioner is of 22 years of age and it appears that the girl who was about 16 years and 11 months old as on May, 2022, has accompanied him and her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. was recorded. Reply has been filed but during the pendency of this case, it is informed that the trial has already commenced and two witnesses have already been examined out of 11 witnesses.
Faced with this situation, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that directions be issued to the concerned Court to dispose of the case expeditiously.
Having noticed the aforesaid facts, this Court is of the view that suitable directions need to be issued to the trial Court for deciding the case DINESH BANSAL 2023.05.19 14:54 I attest to the accuracy of this order Chandigarh
