Through this writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, prayer has been made for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus, for issuance of directions to official respondents, especially respondents No. 1 and 2 to protect life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members from respondents No. 3 and 4, as they are giving death threats to the petitioner and his family members. Learned State counsel submits that the instant petition has rendered infructuous, in view of the fact that grievance of the petitioner raised in this petition has already been redressed. In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
