-.- KARAMJIT SINGH , J. (Oral) Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in case having FIR No.53 dated 21.2.2022 registered under Sections 323, 506, 148, 149 IPC (Sections 325 and 379-B IPC added later on) at Police Station City Mahendergarh District Mahendergah.

Status report by way of an affidavit of Ravi Kumar, PSI filed on behalf of the State is ordered to be taken on record. The counsel for the petitioner contends that in the FIR there is no mention of snatching of gold chain or cash and initially the FIR was PUNEET CHAWLA 2022.10.28 09:50 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

( 2 ) CRM-M-23716-2022 registered under Sections 323, 506, 148, 149 IPC only and subsequently allegations of snatching surfaced in the supplementary statement of the complainant. The counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has joined investigation with the police by virtue of previous order dated 27.5.2022 passed by this Court.

State counsel on instructions from SI Ravi has not refuted the aforesaid assertions made by counsel for the petitioner and further submits that nothing remains to be recovered from the petitioner and he is not required by the police for further investigation or for custodial interrogation and the police has presented challan against the present petitioner. In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is hereby allowed and order dated 27.5.2022 is hereby made absolute. The petitioner should abide by the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
