Petitioner Vidya Devi has made this invocation under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking writ by way of mandamus calling upon directions to the respondents to consider the date of birth as 14.3.1966 instead of 5.12.1960 in her service record which claims to have been manipulated at the behest of some interested party.
