Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 169 dated 29.8.2014, under Sections 452, 427, 354, 506, 323, 148 and 149 IPC, registered at Police Station Kambo, District Amritsar. While issuing notice of motion, following order was passed by this Court on 16.12.2014:- "Petitioners seek the concession of pre-arrest bail in a case registered at the instance of Surjan Singh alleging that on June 28, 2014, his son Jashandep was attacked by the petitioners and others.

Crl. Misc. No. M-42877 of 2014 -2submitted that it is a case of cross-version. A DDR annexure P-2 was recorded pertaining to the same incident at the instance of petitioner No.1 Harpal Singh under Section 326 IPC. There is a delay of 3 days in lodging of FIR.
Heard. It appears that it is a case of version and cross-version where both the parties have received injuries. No grievous injury has been attributed to the petitioners.
Notice of motion for February 13, 2015.
Meanwhile, an interim direction is issued that the petitioners will join investigation on December 27, 2014, and in case of their doing so, they will be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of the arresting officer." Learned State counsel, who is assisted by Assistant Sub Inspector Sawinder Pal Singh, has stated that in terms of the above order the petitioners have joined investigation and are not required for further investigation.
Accordingly, the interim bail granted vide order dated 16.12.2014 is made absolute.
Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
