**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) In the present writ petition, the grievance of the petitioner is that he was senior in the cadre of Masters from one Sh. Dalbir Singh. The seniority position of the petitioner was 2637 whereas the seniority position of Sh. Dalbir Singh was 2708 (Annexure P-2). Counsel for the petitioner argues that said Sh. Dalbir Singh on the basis of reservation was promoted as Elementary School Headmaster in November, 1997 whereas the petitioner was promoted on the said position on 13.06.2013 (Annexure P-3). Counsel for the petitioner by placing reliance upon instructions dated 18.12.2013 (Annexure P-4) prays that the petitioner is entitled for step up of his pay equivalent to Sh. Dalbir Singh. CWP-11876-2019 -2which has been sought in the present writ petition, the petitioner has served the respondents with a legal notice on 05.03.2019 (Annexure P-9), which is still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a time bound direction is issued to the respondents to decide the said legal notice. In view of the request made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to decide the legal notice dated 05.03.2019 (Annexure P-9) by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. Present writ petition stands disposed of.
