Report dated 21.03.2016 of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Nihal Singh Wala has been received whereby after recording statements of complainant Harbans Singh and the accused person namely Gurtej Singh, the Court has shown its satisfaction that the compromise has been arrived at voluntarily, out of free will of the parties, without any undue influence, coercion or pressure. Heard.

In the light of the satisfaction shown by the Court, the fact that the offences for which the accused has been hauled up are not of serious nature, together with the fact that compromise will go a long way in ironing out differences for betterment of future life of the parties and in view of the law laid down in '()*%(*+,-%.)./ 0*1)2 )*3 )*.,/4#

& the prayer made in the petition is allowed, proceedings by way of criminal complaint No.RT261/14.07.2008 titled as 'Harbans Singh versus Hardeep Singh and others' under Sections 324/323/326/148/149 IPC (Annexure P4) pending in the Court of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Nihal Singh Wala and all consequences arising out of the said complaint including orders (Annexures P5, P7 and P8) qua the petitioner are quashed. The petition stands allowed in those terms.
