Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect their life and liberty and to provide adequate security to protect them from respondents No.4 to 7, who are mother, brother and Jija of petitioner No.1. The petitioners, who are present in Court today, further contend that they being major have solemnized marriage with their own consent in accordance with law. The private respondents are not accepting the marriage of the petitioners and are extending threats to them. The copy of educational certificate of petitioner No.1 (Annexure P-1), copy of 'Aadhar' Card of petitioner No.2 (Annexure P-2), marriage photographs (Annexure P-3), copy of marriage certificate (Annexure P-4), copy of representation dated 15.12.2015 (Annexure P-5) and copy of judgment dated 18.03.
2015 (Annexure P-6) have been placed on record. Without going into the validity of the marriage, the present petition is disposed of with the directions to the petitioners to contact respondents No.2 and 3, who, after their satisfaction that the petitioners are actually facing threat, shall take necessary steps to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from private respondents No.4 to 7, as per law.
However, it is made clear that this order, in no way, will affect any other proceedings pending or to be filed against the petitioners etc., which are to be dealt with independently as per law.
