**** RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK J. (ORAL) Petitioners, by way of present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C, have approached this Court seeking appropriate directions to the official respondents to protect their life and liberty at the hands of private respondent No. 4.
Learned counsel for the petitioners, at the very outset, fairly states that before approaching this Court by way of present petition, petitioners have not approached the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala-respondent No.2. She further submits that given an opportunity, petitioners shall approach the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala-respondent No.2 by moving an appropriate representation within a period of two weeks from today and he may be directed to consider and decide the same, within reasonable time. CRM-M-42808 of 2015 Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, lest it should prejudice the rights of either of the parties, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala-respondent No.2 that if the petitioners approach him by moving an appropriate representation within a period of two weeks from today, he shall consider and decide the same, at an early date by passing an appropriate order thereon, strictly in accordance with law, but in any case within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of representation from the petitioners. The Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala-respondent No.2 is further directed to ensure that no harm is caused to the life and liberty of the petitioners, at the hands of respondent No.4 or anybody else on his behalf.
With the abovesaid observations made and directions issued, present petition stands disposed of.
