Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this petition seeking quashing of FIR no.27 dated 13.03.2001, under Sections 419/420/468/471 IPC and Section 14 of the Foreigners Act, 1946, police station Rajasansi, District Amritsar as well as order dated 16.02.2008 whereby the petitioner was declared to be a proclaimed offender, has been rendered infructuous in view of the fact that petitioner has been acquitted after his surrender before the trial court. This fact has been confirmed and verified by the learned counsel for the State, on instructions from SI Ramesh Chander. Disposed of as having become infructuous.
