****** ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN, J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for issuance of directions to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and her family members at the hands of private respondents.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that with regard to a business dispute between the petitioner and respondents No.4 & 5, the petitioner had given a representation dated 21.02.2017 (Annexure P-1) to the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana and thereafter, respondents No.4 & 5 have also given a complaint against the petitioner. It is further submitted that thereafter, son of respondent No.5 Abhey Ahuja filed CRM-M-319832018, which was disposed of vide order dated 30.07.2018 by issuing a direction to the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana to consider the representation of aforesaid Abhey Ahuja within a period of 90 days and VISHNU 2018.10.05 15:17 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court, Chandigarh
CRM-M-43875-2018 -2submit the status report before the concerned Chief Judicial Magistrate, who will monitor the case in accordance with the guidelines laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari Vs. Govt. of U.P. and others, 2013 (4) RCR (Crl.) 979. Learned counsel further submits that the police is now considering the representation filed by aforesaid Abhey Ahuja and is not taking any action on the representation of the petitioner. After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar to consider the representation of the petitioner along with the representation submitted by respondents No.4 & 5 or aforesaid Abhey Ahuja, in terms of the order dated 30.07.2018 passed in CRM-M-31983-2018. Disposed of, accordingly.
