(Oral) The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to fill-up vacant post of PTI as per the final result dated 13.12.2022, Annexure P-5, and consider the petitioner for appointment as a General category candidate for the post in response to advertisement 06 of 2023. 2.

Learned State counsel, on instructions received from the Commission vide letter dated 05.05.2025, contends that the petitioner was duly considered for appointment, but secured ninety-six marks in the written examination as against the cut-off of hundred marks in General category. On this account, he was not called for interview. A copy of the letter/instructions is retained on the case file as Annexure 'A'.

In view thereof, there is no ground to entertain the petition, and it stands dismissed.
