Coram:

Hon'ble Mr. Justice Inderjit Singh .....

Present:

Mr. Dheeraj Mahajan, Advocate for the petitioner. .....

Inderjit Singh, J.

The petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.49 dated 31.7.2017 registered for the offences under Sections 324, 326 and 34 IPC at Police Station Bhaini Mian Khan, District Gurdaspur.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.

From the record, I find that the petitioner is named in the FIR. He is stated to be armed with a `Datar' and specific injury on the left arm of the injured has been attributed to him which has been declared as grievous injury. The petitioner is required for custodial interrogation as the weapon is yet to be recovered.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the Harpal Singh Parmar 2017.11.15 16:35 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Cr. Misc. No.M-42939 of 2017 [2] fact that the petitioner is required for custodial interrogation, I do not find it a fit case where the petitioner is entitled for the grant of anticipatory bail. Therefore, finding no merit in this petition, the same is dismissed.
