  way to go and that the compromise will go a long way in resolving the personal dispute and to bring about peace and harmony, the prayer made in the petition is allowed and the proceedings by way of FIR No.5 dated 08.01.2013 registered at Police Station Women Cell, Jalandhar, District Jalandhar under Sections 406/498:A IPC and all consequences arising thereof are quashed.

The petition stands allowed in those terms.
