RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK, J Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction at the hands of the investigating officer in FIR No.145 dated 16.6.2015 under Section 21 of the NDPS Act, (later on Section 21 converted to Sections 21-B, 21-C of NDPS Act) registered at Police Station Kalanwani, Distt. Sirsa, petitioner has approached this court by way of instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking appropriate directions.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that although petitioner has approached the Superintendent of Police, Sirsa-respondent no.3 many a times, but he could not place on record any copy of representation already made. He further submits that given an opportunity, petitioner shall move an appropriate representation before the Superintendent of Police, Sirsa-respondent no.3, within a period of one week from today and respondent no.3 may be directed to consider GREESH SAHNI 2015.12.19 16:18 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

Crl. Misc.No.M-42908 of 2015 and decide the same, within a reasonable time. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, lest it should prejudice the rights of either of the parties, Superintendent of Police, Sirsa-respondent no.3 is directed that if the petitioner approaches him within a period of one week from today, by moving an appropriate representation, he shall consider the grievance of the petitioner at an early date, by passing an appropriate order thereon, strictly in accordance with law, but in any case within a period of two weeks after receipt of representation from the petitioner. Respondent no.3 shall also ensure that the investigating agency will not exceed its jurisdiction, while conducting the investigation.

With the above said observations made and directions issued, present petition stands disposed of.
