Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 52 dated 11.11.2014 under Section 406, 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Women Cell Bathinda, District Bathinda.

On 20.1.2015, following order was passed by this Court :- "Learned counsel for the parties have shown inclination for compromise.

So, the parties are directed to appear before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court on 30.1.2015.

The file be put up before this Court on 20.3.2015. In the meantime, in the event of arrest, the petitioner is ordered be released on interim bail on his furnishing bail GURPREET SINGH 2015.08.25 13:39 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Crl. Misc. No. M-43040 of 2014 -2bonds to the satisfaction of SHO/Investigating Officer subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C and on joining the investigation."

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the complainant has left for England.

Learned State counsel, who is assisted by Head Constable Angrej Singh, has submitted that in terms of the above order, petitioner has joined investigation.

This case was referred to Mediation and Conciliation Centre. However, the parties could not amicably settle their dispute.

Interim bail was granted to the petitioner in January 2015 by this Court and in pursuance thereto, petitioner has joined investigation.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the present case, interim bail granted by this Court to the petitioner vide order dated 20.1.2015, is made absolute. Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
