LISA GILL, J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for quashing of FIR No. 0692 dated 15.10.2016 under Sections 498A and 406 IPC registered at Police Station Jagadhri City, District Yamuna Nagar alongwith consequential proceedings arising therefrom.

Learned counsel for the petitioners points out that it is clearly mentioned in the affidavit dated 12.05.2017 by Rajinder Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Jagadhri (Yamuna Nagar) on behalf of respondent No.1 that cancellation of the FIR has been recommended. In this view of the matter the present petition has been rendered infructuous. Ordered accordingly.
