The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 of the BNSS for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.0407 dated 21.10.2024 under Sections 115, 127(2), 190, 191(3) and 351(3) of BNS 2023 registered at Police Station Sector 27, Sonipat, District Sonipat.
Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that no specific injury has been attributed to the petitioner. He further contends that even the complainant Deepak Kumar has sworn an affidavit about the petitioner being not involved in the incident in question. He contends that the petitioner does not suffer from any criminal antecedents and no recovery is to be effected from him. He further submits that the petitioner is ready and willing to join the investigation as and when required to do so.

In the meantime, the petitioner is directed to join investigation as and when required by the Investigating Agency/Officer. In the event of the petitioner joining investigation, he shall be admitted to interim bail by the arresting/investigating officer on his furnishing adequate bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the arresting/investigating officer.
