This petition has been filed under Section 528 BNSS of 2023 (482 Cr.P.C) for issuance of directions to respondents No. 3 and 4 to register criminal case on the complaint filed by the petitioner (Annexure P-2 and P-3) and proper investigation may be done with a further prayer for issuance of directions to respondent No. 3 o pass a speaking order on complaint (Annexure P-3) given by the petitioner. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has preferred a complaint dated 19.01.2026 (Annexure P-3) to respondent No.3- Senior Superintendent of Police, Batala, District Gurdaspur but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel submits that he would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.3- Senior Superintendent of Police, Batala, District Gurdaspur to look into his complaint and take appropriate steps at the earliest.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 6.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3- Senior Superintendent of Police, Batala, District Gurdaspur to consider and decide the complaint dated 19.01.2026 (Annexure P-3) of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass an appropriate order.
