Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 & 3 for protecting the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of respondents No. 4 to 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that respondents No.4 to 6 want to perform the marriage of petitioner with a boy, who is not her choice. For that purpose, petitioner made representation dated 02.05.2019 (Annexure P1) to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur, but no action has been taken thereon till now. Notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Rajat Bansal, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3. A complete copy of paper-book be provided to him during the course of the day.

Criminal Misc. No. M-20683 of 2019 direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur to look into the representation dated 02.05.2019 (Annexure P1) and take the required action thereon, if any, as per law. However, it is also made clear that this order shall not entitle the petitioner and her friend Gurpreet Singh for any protection against their arrest or continuance of any criminal proceedings, if they are found involved in the commission of any cognizable offence. In case, the petitioner and her friend had committed any offence, the law will take its own course.
