(ORAL): The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the transfer order dated 16.3.2024, Annexure P-5, whereby the petitioner has been transferred to a school which was not preferred by her as per the options submitted, though posts in the preferred schools are still lying vacant. Further, a writ of mandamus has been sought directing the respondents not to relieve her from her present place of posting.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has argued that the petitioner was allocated the school under 'anywhere category', without considering the options submitted.

Learned State counsel, on instructions, contends that the petitioner's case for allotment of school was duly considered as per the options submitted by her, but she scored 44.6027 points/marks, which Ashwani Kumar 2024.05.18 15:17 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP No.10132 of 2024 -2- were less than the points of another teacher, who had also opted the school preferred by the petitioner. Accordingly, it was allocated to the other teacher. In these circumstances, the petitioner was considered under 'anywhere category' for allotment, which is in accordance with the Policy.

Learned counsel for the petitioner is not in a position to dispute the facts aforestated.

In view thereof there is no ground to entertain the petition. 6.
