Through the instant petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C., the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 208 dated 25.05.2021, registered under Sections 120-B, 308, 420 IPC and Section 61 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914 (Haryana Amendment Bill 2020), at Police Station Chandimandir, District Panchkula.

Status report by way of affidavit dated 11.07.2022 of the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Panchkula, submitted by the learned State counsel in the Court, is taken on record.

Vide order dated 15.12.2021 passed by a Coordinate Bench, ad interim anticipatory bail was granted to the petitioner. !

   I have heard the learned counsel for the parties. In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 15.12.2021 granting ad interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions envisaged in Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
