(Oral) CRWP-6220-2021(O&M) Petitioner-Jasvir Singh, then aged 25 years filed present petition claiming himself to be detenue, sought a writ in the nature of habeas corpus for his release from the unlawful detention/illegal custody. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner today and counsel for complainant points out that vide order dated 22.09.2022 passed in CRM-M-29123-2022 titled as Jasvir Singh @ Jassa Vs. State of Punjab, petitioner has been granted bail by this Court in FIR No.37 dated 18.02.2021, under Sections 408, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 473, 483 and 120-B IPC and Section 66D of I.T. Act, 2000, registered at Police Station Mataur, District SAS Nagar.

CRWP-6220-2021(O&M) - 2 - CRWP-6219-2021(O&M) CRWP-6219-2021(O&M) Petitioner - Rakesh Kumar Dahiya @ Roshan, then aged 29 years, filed present petition claiming himself to be detenue seeking a writ in the nature of habeas corpus for his release from the unlawful detention/illegal custody.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner today and counsel for complainant points out that vide order dated 22.09.2022 passed in CRM-M-22151-2021 titled as Rakesh Kumar Dahiya Vs. State of Punjab, petitioner has been granted bail by this Court in FIR No.37 dated 18.02.2021 under Sections 408, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 473, 483 and 120-B IPC and Section 66D of I.T. Act, 2000, registered at Police Station Mataur, District SAS Nagar.

Relying upon the common orders of bail passed qua the respective petitioners in both the cases, counsel appearing for complainant submits that in view of the bail orders passed by this Court, nothing is left for adjudication in these petitions and the same may be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.

Learned State counsel also confirms the statement made by learned counsel for the complainant.

In view of the stand of the respondents, i.e. State of Punjab as well as complainant, both the petitions are ordered to be disposed of, as having been rendered infructuous.
