The present petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to hold the election to the Committee of the Tajpur Multipurpose Agriculture Cooperative Society Limited, VPO Tajpur, Tehsil Raikot, District Ludhiana on 10.04.2026 as per the election schedule dated 24.03.2026 (Annexure P-13) and the entire election process should be videographed.

At the outset, Ms. Shruti, learned AAG, Punjab, on instructions from Mr. Surinder Singh, Inspector, Cooperative Societies, Raikot, who is present in Court today, has stated that the election process has already commenced and is being duly videographed.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of as having become infructuous.
