Versus
State of Punjab ...... Respondent **** CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AJAY TEWARI **** Present : Mr.Vaibhav Narang, Advocate for the petitioner. **** i. Whether Reporters of local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? ii. To be referred to the Reporters or not?
iii.Whether the judgment should be reported in the Digest? AJAY TEWARI, J. (Oral) This is a petition for anticipatory bail filed in case bearing FIR No. 198 dated 28.08.2015, under Sections 376/506 IPC, registered at Police Station Jandiala Guru, Distt. Amritsar Rural. The allegations are that the petitioner lured the complainant to his house on the pretext that her sister was waiting for her and then he and two other persons raped her. One of them also made a video and later on those other persons started harassing her by showing the video and again those other persons raped her. Learned counsel has argued that as regards the petitioner there is a delay. Even the alleged video has not been recovered. Be that as it may, keeping in view the seriousness of the offence and without commenting on the merits of the case,I do not deem it appropriate to grant the concession of anticipatory bail to the present petitioner.
Petition is dismissed.
Since the main case has been decided, the Criminal Misc.Application, if any also stands disposed of. ( AJAY TEWARI ) December 19, 2015 JUDGE sunita SUNITA NAGPAL 2015.12.21 10:50 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity y of this document Chandigarh
