The present contempt petition has been filed pleading wilful disobedience of order dated 25.07.2018 passed by this Court in LPA No.90 of 2016.

Reply has been filed today in the Court, same is taken on record. Copy of reply is handed over to learned counsel for the petitioner. A cheque bearing No.056865, dated 18.09.2019 amounting to
2,68,816/- has been produced, same is handed over to learned counsel for the petitioner after retaining photocopy of the same.

COCP No.1715 of 2019 -2reply filed and cheque handed over, no cause of action survives for pursuing the contempt petition. However, he seeks liberty to avail remedies in accordance with law in case there is grievance with regard to calculation of amount found due including moving a representation.

The contempt petition is disposed of with liberty as prayed for.

In case any representation is moved by the petitioner, the same shall be disposed of by the respondent expeditiously, after providing opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and needful will be done within eight weeks from receipt of representation. The rule issued against the respondent stands discharged.
