SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) Status report by way of affidavit dated 30.11.2024 of Tarlochan Singh (PPS), DSP, Samrala, Police District Khanna, District Ludhiana has been filed in Court today by learned State counsel, which is taken on record. Mr. Rattu would refer to para 7 of the status report stating that the petitioner has joined the investigation on 29.05.2024 before the Investigating Officer duly complying with order dated 03.05.2024. Though there are allegations of embezzlement/misappropriation of the amount pertaining to the Society namely, Jodhwal Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd, which were received from one member of the said Society, namely, Bhagwan Dass that the amount was not credited into account of the Society. However, Mr. Rattu, apart from it, could not refer to any other incriminating material, would would necessitate custodial interrogation of the petitioner, at this stage inasmuch as it is amount of Rs.33000/- alone, which is in question.

In view of the above, the order dated 03.05.2024 is made absolute. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of. ( SANDEEP MOUDGIL ) JUDGE 02.12.2024 manoj
