The petitioner has filed this petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail in case FIR No.0218 dated 26.7.2018 (AnnexureP.1) registered for the offences under Sections 420 and 120-B IPC and Section 24 of Immigration Act, 1983 at Police Station Division No.8, Ludhiana, District Ludhiana.
Notice of motion to Advocate General, Punjab. Ms. Monika Jalota, learned Deputy Advocate General, Punjab has appeared on behalf of the respondent-State and Mr. Naveen Bawa, learned Advocate has appeared for the complainant and contested this petition.

Cr. Misc. No.M-44081 of 2018 [2] State counsel and have gone through the record. In the present case, FIR has been got registered by one Neeraj Gupta on the basis of written complaint. As per prosecution version, `18,50,000/- were paid to Bhavesh Giri Goswami. The allegation against the present petitioner is that he has sent the code for sending the money to Bhavesh Giri and he is the main accused. Further, the allegation in the present FIR is that this money was sent through Hawala for sending the complainant to Canada.
The petitioner has been in custody since 26.7.2018. He is not required for interrogation or investigation purposes as he is in judicial custody. The trial of the case is likely to take long time. No useful purpose will be served by keeping the petitioner in custody till the final disposal of the case.
Therefore, keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the present case; without discussing the facts in minute detail and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this criminal miscellaneous petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail subject to his furnishing personal bond in the sum of `1 Lakh with two sureties in the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate.
