Prayer in this petition is for issuance of direction to the official respondent Nos 2 and 3 to conduct fair, proper and impartial investigation in F.I.R No. 74 dated 21.04.2016 registered under Sections 420/406/498A/120-B IPC at Police Station Kapurthala City, Distt. Kapurthala and to submit final report.

As per reply filed by the learned State counsel, during enquiry/investigation, the allegations of F.I.R were not proved and after obtaining approval from Inspector General of Police, the cancellation report has been prepared by SHO Police Station City Kapurthala on 15.10.2016 and the same is under process.
