Ms. Ambika Sood, DAG Punjab Along with Mr. Ajaib Singh, Head Constable/898, Police Station City Samana, District Patiala. * * * * Petitioner-Revisionist has placed on record a duly sworn affidavit of Mohinder Singh S/o Avtar Singh, Complainant, wherein it is stated that the entire amount has been paid to him and so he does not want to proceed with the case. He further states that he has no objection if the revision petition is allowed and the petitioner is acquitted of the charge. Mohinder Singh, Complainant has not come present, today. However, keeping in view the fact that a duly sworn affidavit of Sh. Mohinder Singh, Complainant has been placed on record, wherein he has accepted the receipt of the amount, the matter stands settled between the parties.

In view of the compromise, we accept the revision petition and set aside the orders of JMIC and ADJ.
