M.M.S. BEDI, J (ORAL) It appears that on account of non-appearance of PW Navjot Singh a witness to the event of deceased having been seen last, the case is now fixed for 20.2.2015. The petitioner has been in custody for the last two years. All the other witnesses have turned hostile. The trial Court has also sent a reference to this Court for extension of time to await the examination of PW.1 to establish the circumstance of petitioner being connected to the crime on the basis of evidence of last seen.

This petition is disposed of with a direction that in case PW Navjot Singh does not appear on 20.2.2015, the trial Court shall release the petitioner on bail on his furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the said Court after 20.2.2015. (M.M.S. BEDI) February 10, 2015.
