IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH CRM-M-43186 of 2017 Date of Decision: 15.11.2017 Sunil Kumar ....Petitioner
Versus
State of Punjab and others ....Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAMENDRA JAIN Present: - Mr. Deepak Aggarwal, Advocate, for Mr. Veneet Sharma, Advocate, for the petitioner. RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for direction that investigation in FIR No.127 dated 28.04.2017 registered under Section 323, 324 and 34 IPC at Police Station 'A' Division, Amritsar City, District Amritsar be conducted expeditiously, fairly and in a time-bound manner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the purpose would be achieved if respondent No.2 - Commissioner of Police, Amritsar, is directed to look into representation dated 29.06.2017 {Annexure P-3 (T)} moved by the petitioner, in a time-bound manner. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and after perusing the paper-book, but without commenting on merits of the case, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 - Commissioner of Police, Amritsar, to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 29.06.2017 {Annexure P-3 (T)} after hearing the petitioner by passing a speaking order within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
