The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking concession of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case F.I.R. No.201 dated 16.10.2015 under sections 148/149/323/325/285/506/307/341 IPC and Sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act, registered at Police Station Hassanpur, District Palwal.

It is a matter where this Court would not be required to go into the merits. The petition is opposed on the ground that the petitioner is a habitual offender and a list of 7 other FIRs in which the petitioner is involved had been furnished to this Court on the last date of hearing. The details thereof are as follows:

During the course of resumed hearing today, counsel for the petitioner has not been able to rebut the factual position as regards the involvement of the petitioner in a number of other criminal proceedings including FIR No.170 dated 02.11.2013, under Sections 302/201/345 IPC registered at Police Station Hasanpur, District Palwal. Under such circumstances, petitioner is not held entitled to the concession of pre-arrest bail.

Petition dismissed.
