The petitioners have got married against the wishes of their parents. They are stated to be major. Petitioner No.1 in support of his age proof, has placed on record photocopy of his PAN Card(Annexure P-1) which depicts his date of birth as 02.08.1995. Petitioner No.2 in support of her age proof has also placed on record photocopy of her PAN Card (Annexure P-2) which shows her date of birth as 19.11.1995. Petitioner No.2 has already moved a representation before the Commissioner of Police, Amritsar for protecting her life and liberty and that of her husband i.e. petitioner No.1.
