(ORAL) The petitioner was charge-sheeted for the misconduct that he remained absent from duty for 7 months 3 days and 1 hour from 25.04.2013 to 28.11.2013. He was departmentally proceeded for the said misconduct and was punished by imposing stoppage of 5 future annual increments with cumulative effect. The petitioner remained unsuccessful in appeal and revision which were also rejected on 22.07.2016 and 28.09.2016 respectively. The present petition has been filed for the release of salary for the period of absence on the ground that the competent authority has not decided the said period in any manner.
