Learned counsel for the petitioner at the outset submits that after the registration of the FIR in question, during investigation, the petitioner was found innocent and, therefore, the present petition may be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. 3.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Pal Singh, does not dispute the submissions made by the counsel opposite qua the petitioner having been declared innocent by the investigating agency and also does not oppose the prayer made by the counsel opposite. 4.
