Inter-alia submits that the mere allegation is that the car is not being transferred in the name of the complainant, though the same is in his possession. Thus, the allegation even if taken on their face value, would not constitute offence punishable under Sections 420,120-B and 406 IPC. Notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Tarun Aggarwal, Sr. D.A.G., Punjab appears and accepts notice on behalf of the respondent/State.

In the meantime, in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on interim bail subject to his furnishing personal and surety bonds to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/Investigating Officer.
