The present petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for the grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.64 dated 16.06.2020, registered under Section 22 of NDPS Act, 1985 at Police Station Rori, District Sirsa.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner is in custody for more than three years.

Learned State counsel on the other hand submits that 07 witnesses have been examined out of a total of 13 witnesses. Remaining witnesses are officials and next date of hearing is 25.08.2023. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the petition at this stage and issuance of a direction to the trial Court to expedite the trial, as it is not proceeding on account of the pendency of the other FIRs. 5.

Dismissed as withdrawn at this stage.
